Pearl River Resort is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee security officers and ensure guest and staff safety at the Choctaw, MS property. This on-site role requires strong leadership, incident reporting, and adherence to SOPs across shifts.

The position emphasizes supervision, staffing, and safety in a dynamic resort environment, with responsibilities for protecting assets and maintaining professional standards in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Six (6) years’ experience in casino security, law enforcement, corrections, industrial or private security is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and good driving record – two or less moving violations within a 12 month period.
• Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must complete Incident Management System course within one (1) year of employment.
• May not be convicted or arrested of any criminal offense.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers on assigned shift to provide safety and security of guests, associates and property.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting and disciplining associates as needed.
• Patrol the property on assigned shift, identify potential hazards, and report them to ensure safety of customers and staff.
• Oversee and maintain sensitive keys.
• Prepare and request reports on incidents involving customers, associates and/or the facility.
• Interact with customers and associates in a positive, professional manner.
• Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings and maintain accurate records.
