Job summary

Pearl River Resort in Choctaw, MS, seeks a full-time on-site Security Officer to uphold safe operations across the resort. You will enforce policies, monitor for safety hazards, complete incident reports, and assist guests with professional service while maintaining a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must complete Incident Management System course within one year of employment.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Responsibilities

• Execute security duties to protect guests, associates and property.
• Generate written reports on security-related incidents.
• Render basic First Aid to guests and associates as required.
• Escort and observe guests and associates for safety and report hazards.
• Act as Dispatcher during emergencies and coordinate responses.
• Ensure safe transport of company funds and gaming tokens.
• Interact professionally with guests and staff to maintain high service levels.
• Observe for irregularities and resolve issues with managers as needed.
• Verify IDs for underage individuals to ensure gaming compliance.
