Job summary

Apache Casino Hotel in Lawton, OK seeks a Security Department supervisor to lead the shift, plan and direct security activities, and oversee officers protecting guests, team members and property. You will ensure regulatory compliance, conduct investigations, prepare reports, and coordinate with other departments to maintain a safe guest experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, evaluating staff, enforcing appearance and attendance standards, and promoting a high level of service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership skills and customer service orientation.
• Proven ability to work effectively with team members including management, and regulatory agency personnel.
• Strong computer skills and an effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
• In‑depth knowledge of federal and state laws and local ordinances and regulations pertaining to security, surveillance, life/safety requirements, and applicable elements of employment law.
• Experience with and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and/or regulatory agency reporting requirements regarding security and gaming surveillance.
• Aptitude to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Supervise security team during shift and direct security activities.
• Plan and direct security-related activities on the assigned shift.
• Ensure effective communication between all areas of the casino related to guest experience.
• Conduct investigations and prepare reports on incidents involving team members or guests.
• Schedule staff, provide training, review performance, and coach or mentor team members.
• Ensure appearance and attendance standards are met and reinforce Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
• Investigate team member complaints and make recommendations to the Director.
• Study procedures to suggest improvements in efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Understand and comply with Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
• Maintain regular attendance.
