Job summary

Fort Sill Apache Staffing LLC at Apache Casino Hotel seeks a Summary Security Officer I to guard casino assets and patrons, patrol interior and exterior areas, and enforce access controls. Responsibilities

  • Patrol casino buildings and parking lots, identify hazards and document incidents.
  • Escort money and team members in money-handling positions and assist with jackpot verifications.
  • Provide directions and escorts to guests and team members; assist civil authorities as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare for and respond to incidents with proper reporting and documentation.

Job description

SummarySecurity Officer I is responsible for protection of Apache Casino Hotel assets that include but are not limited to currency, staffing, guests etc. by enforcing preventative measures. Patrolling the interior and exterior of the property and only providing property access to authorized individuals.Essential Functions:Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of always providing exceptional service.Assume responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of guests and fellow team members, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocolsPatrol Apache Casino Hotel buildings and parking lot; identify safety hazards and breaks in security, investigating, interviewing, and documenting all applicable incidents in accordance with internal policiesRegularly provide escorts of money and team members in money-handling positions; assist with jackpot verificationsGive directions and provide escort to guests and team members in needProvide assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court and other administrative hearingsMake detailed lost and found descriptions - people and incidentsPerform other related duties as may be assigned by reporting supervisorMust be able to obtain and maintain a Fort Sill Apache Gaming license.Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through the Apache Casino Hotel company policy.Regular attendance is required.Due to the cyclical nature of the casino/hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of Apache Casino Hotel. The team member may occasionally work in extreme outdoor temperatures, and climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and lift, move, push, pull and/or drag 100 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.While performing job duties the team member is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and back and forth to other areas as may be required due to business demands. The team member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate, and there are fluctuations in lighting due to flashing lights from slot machines and band lighting.At a minimum, the selected candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug-screening test and obtain a gaming license.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED certificateSix months’ prior experience in law enforcement, military, or civilian security servicesValid driver’s license, no major traffic infractions, and no criminal historySkills and abilities to work with personal computers, access control card systems, gaming devices, safety equipment, etc.Strong written and oral communication skills required for effective communication and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
