Job summary

North Star Mohican Casino Resort is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety of guests, staff and the property. The role is hourly and nonexempt with shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends, reporting to the Security Supervisor.

The position requires a strong customer service mindset, reliability, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Candidates must be able to obtain necessary licenses and pass background and health screenings, per

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required if you are 19 or younger.
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service and interact positively with customers and employees.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide for security, safety and protection of customers, staff, visitors and the property.
• Maintain high standards of customer service per policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with emergency procedures and assist emergency personnel when necessary.
• Patrol the premises and parking lot of the casino.
• Transport monies on the floor and escort casino funds to banks.
• Submit written incident reports to the shift supervisor for unusual or suspicious events.
