Job summary

Maverick Gaming is hiring a Security Officer in Elko, NV to oversee the safe operation of the casino and protect guests and assets. The role requires patrolling the property, writing detailed incident reports, and coordinating with management to address security concerns.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certification (preferred), and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. E-Verify participation noted by the employer.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Fluent in English.
• CPR/First Aid and/or EMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Security Officer is responsible for the safe operation of the Casino, ensuring the safety of guests and employees while protecting assets.
• Patrol company property, protect assets and ensure safety of all guests and personnel.
• Document and write reports on all incidents.
• Respond to and handle emergencies using proper safety procedures.
• Ensure adherence to Nevada and federal laws.
