Job summary

Maverick-Nv-LL in Wendover, NV is hiring a Security Officer to oversee casino safety, protect guests and employees, and safeguard assets while complying with regulations.

You will patrol property, respond to incidents, document reports, assist patrons, and coordinate with management to maintain a secure environment. Requirements include 21+, English fluency, and Nevada Gaming Control Board registration; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certified in CPR/First Aid and/or EMT preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Registered with Nevada Gaming Control Board.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and AED certifications.
• Must demonstrate and use sound judgement.
• Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Patrol property, protect assets and ensure safety of guests and personnel.
• Assist security management with planning, organizing and coordinating security policies.
• Assist patrons as needed and provide excellent customer service.
• Document and write reports on all incidents in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies using proper procedures and safety measures.
• Ensure compliance with Nevada and federal laws.
• Maintain communication with management.
