Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and team members. The role includes responding to medical needs, writing clear reports, and enforcing age verification to ensure guests are 21 or older.

The position requires standing and moving throughout the shift, with a 1:30pm–10:00pm schedule and a starting pay of $17.00 per hour. CPR/AED will be provided, and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide first aid to sick or injured patrons or employees.
• Ability to write clear, accurate incident and accident reports.
• Must be able to check identification to ensure guest is over 21.

Responsibilities

• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees by providing first aid.
• Respond to medical requests as primary or secondary responder.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Assist guests and employees with directions and procedures.
• Check IDs to confirm 21+ eligibility.
• Handle fills, credits, exchanges and marker transfers as needed.
• Prepare accident/incident reports and witness statements.
• Operate company vehicles safely.
• Monitor and respond to alarms.
