Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a Lead Security Officer to patrol the property, oversee events, and safeguard assets. You will enforce gaming regulations and prepare incident reports, while training and scheduling security staff.

The role emphasizes guest relations and physical readiness for a demanding shift. The position requires maintaining a high level of vigilance, standing and moving throughout shifts, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Patrol exterior of property including Parking Garage by foot and patrol vehicle.
• Oversee high volume outdoor events for security and traffic concerns.
• Safeguards and protects Hollywood Casino St. Louis assets.
• Enforce Missouri Gaming Commission Regulations including the System of Internal Controls.
• Prepares Security Incident Reports.
• Train and scheduleSecurity personnel.
• Escorts Gaming Chips, Tokens and cash of $500.00 or more, Collects and transports Drop Boxes to storage area.
• Administers minor first aid when required.
• Guest relations.
• Report improper or illegal or suspected improper or illegal acts by a Hollywood Casino St. Louis employee to the Security Assistant Shift Manager.
• Assist Main Bankers in pushing the locked NRT carts when replenishing the self-redemption machines.
• Acts as a leader to assist supervisors concerning minor problems with Security Officers.
• This postion will require you to be standing and actively moving duration of your shift.
• In this role, you can expect to use your hands, walk, and be physically active throughout your shift.
• You will be required to help assist guest and their needs.
• Our security team must be able to life and/or move up to 40 pounds.

• Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• CPR Certificate and AED will be provided
• Ability to run on level surfaces as well as up and down stairs.
• Ability to mwrite clear, accurate, and concise reports.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
