Job summary

PENN Entertainment’s Hollywood Casino & Hotel in St. Louis is hiring a security team member to assist sick or injured patrons and guests. You will respond to medical requests, report hazards, check IDs, and help guests with directions while staying calm in emergencies. CPR/AED training will be provided. The role offers $17 per hour with a 1:30pm–10pm shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Available to work Fri, Sat, Sun.
• CPR/AED training provided or required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles as needed.
• Ability to navigate stairs and level surfaces.
• Remain calm in emergencies and stressful situations.
• Clear, concise reporting skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid to patrons and employees.

• Verify guest age over 21 via ID.

Pay: $17.00 per hour | Shift: 1:30pm - 10pm

Responsibilities

• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees by providing first aid.
• Must respond to all medical request as either the primary or the secondary responder.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Assist guest and employees on directions and proper procedures.
• Ability to check identification to ensue a guest is over the age of 21.
• Performs fills, credit, exchanges and marker transfers for departments as needed.
• Compose accident/incident reports and witness statements when necessary.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
• Monitor and respond to alarms.
• This postions will require you to be standing and actively moving duration of your shift.
• In this role, you can expect to use your hands, walk, and be physically active throughout your shift.
• You will be required to help assist guest and their needs.

Our security team must be able to life and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Requirements

• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicant must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• CPR Certificate and AED will be provided.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License and operate company vehicles as needed.
• Must have the ability to run on level surfaces as well as up and down stairs.
• Must have the ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.
• Must be able to write clear, accurate, and concise reports.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
