Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests, property, and staff at on-site facilities. You will perform mandated security duties, patrol areas, inspect entries, and respond to incidents with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to read and write simple communications, and a valid driver’s license. Licensure with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission is necessary, with eligibility for credentialing.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

• Must qualify for PA Racing Commission license and meet credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to comply with PGCB mandated requirements, including gaming-related drops, card and dice reconciliation, inspection, cancellation and destruction, and transport of locked chip carriers and documents.
• Protect guests, property and staff from harm through alertness and proactive security measures.
• patrol facilities and stand watch at assigned posts to ensure guest comfort and safety.
• Examine entry points to ensure they are secure and conducted inspections to keep equipment and facilities safe.
• Report irregularities such as fire hazards or unsafe conditions to the appropriate authority.
• Guard against theft of company property.
• Greet guests and staff in a positive, professional manner.
• Regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic at plant entrance to maintain orderly flow.
• Ensure adherence to responsible gaming and company policies.
