Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality seeks a Security Dispatcher to serve as the communications hub between the casino and security officers, handling radio, telephone, window access and in-person inquiries. The position emphasizes guest services in a fast-paced environment and requires strong logkeeping, incident coordination and entry verification.

Shifts run 3pm–11:30pm and may change with business needs; the role involves coordinating EMS/Law Enforcement, maintaining badges, and ensuring secure facility

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; GED program within six months from start date.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• One year experience in law enforcement, corrections or other security DISPATCH capacity preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word; a skills test will be administered with at least 70% pass rate.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; a skills test will be administered with at least 70% pass rate.
• All candidates must participate in a panel interview and may demonstrate required skills in a realistic job preview.
• Experience in customer relations or guest services.
• Must complete/pass TIPS and Title#31 training as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and radio messages for medical, EMT, 911 calls and other emergencies; log calls with time and description; coordinate camera coverage where possible.
• Control the radio net and direct responses per procedures.
• Screen all visitors for authorization to gain entry into the BOH.
• Maintain calm in a stressful environment.
• Ensure visitors and vendors sign in/out and issue temporary badges.
• Verify authorization for all entering the facility.
• Operate computer functions and various applications.
• Monitor multiple radios and phones across departments.
• Receive and log messages and direct according to procedure.
• Log lost and found items including hotel room items.
• Maintain fleet vehicles keys and activity logs.
• Monitor alarms and notify per procedures.
• Coordinate EMS, local law enforcement, managers and officers during incidents.
• Maintain organizational records and perform other duties as assigned.
