Job summary

Pioneer Crossing Casino Fernley is seeking an experienced leader to administer policies for casino floor and food/beverage operations. You will train staff to achieve superior customer service, ensure a welcoming atmosphere, and maintain facility standards.

Responsibilities include cash handling, strong adherence to gaming and safety regulations, incident reporting, and coordinating staffing. A high school diploma and casino management experience are preferred; English communication and math

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Casino Management experience preferred.
Must communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
Excellent math skills; ability to calculate money accurately.
Excellent customer relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Administer policies relating to casino floor, and food and beverage operations.
Achieve company objectives in customer service, quality of service, and appearance of facility through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
Ensure guests are welcome and receive responsive, friendly service at all times.
Control cash handling in the cage and on the casino floor following procedures.
Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Ensure machines and equipment on the gaming floor are clean and in good condition.
Assist in implementing casino marketing and promotions.
Comply with federal, state, local regulations for health, safety, labor and gaming requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of information concerning guests, employees, and assets.
Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports for Security and HR.
Assign and direct employees’ work duties; ensure adequate coverage.
Participate in employment and termination decisions.
Develop staff in all areas of casino relations and policies.
Address complaints and resolve issues; attend management meetings.
