Job summary

Kiowa Casinos is seeking a Casino Host to enhance guest experiences on the property and drive rewards participation. You will supervise promotions, coordinate events with marketing and hotel teams, and act as a liaison to recruit and retain high-end players.

You will train Rewards Club Reps and Leads, monitor guest activity, and ensure compliance with gaming regulations while upholding Kiowa's guest service standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years player development experience or equivalent.
  • Public speaking experience preferred; strong communication skills expected.
  • Working knowledge of gaming industry regulations preferred.

Job description

SUMMARYThe Casino Host is responsible for the retention and acquisition of high-end players and executes promotions and events. The Casino Host is also responsible for knowing all job duties, policies and procedures for a Rewards Club Representative and Lead Rewards Club Representative. The Casino Host will be visible in the community as a positive representative of Kiowa Casinos. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the organization's policies and procedures, tribal regulations, and all federal/state laws, as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES1. All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa's Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, SOP's, and any other related training.2. Ensure an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the properties, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner.3. Collaborate with Player Development Manager to design and execute the Player Development Program.4. Attract and retain high end players.5. Execute marketing promotions and/or events on or off property in a consistently professional manner.6. Execute hotel programs and activities as needed.7. Train Reward Club Reps and Leads on the execution of promotions and events.8. Act as a Lead for the Rewards Club in the absence of a Rewards Club Lead.9. Tele-market all lists provided by Marketing.10. Track all Guests for all promotions and events.11. Greet non-enrolled slot players on an individual basis.12. Inform all slot players in the casino via periodic public address announcements and personal contact about the Rewards Club and its benefits.13. Interact on the casino floor with Rewards Club members to answer questions about the club and to look for enrolled players who are not using their Rewards Card.14. Interact with both the Slot and Table Games departments to find our best Guests, card them, and be treir contact person.15. Maintain knowledge of all gaming machines, player tracking systems, and promotions.16. Promote a positive image to the public and Team Members.17. Maintain knowledge of special events, hours of operation, and other pertinent information.18. Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others.19. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and/or ability required.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE• High School diploma or GED is required.• Associate degree in a related field and 2 years player development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.• 1 year Public Speaking experience preferred.• Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the regulations governing gaming operations preferred.REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & ABILITIES• Must be at least 21 years of age.• Regular and reliable attendance.• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.• Strong computer skills with experience in Word, MS Office, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point software applications experience with the ability to demonstrate proficiency.• Ability to work cooperatively with all departments and all team members.• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.• Ability to maintain high confidentiality.• Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner.• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.• Accurate and detail oriented.• Excellent problem-solving skills.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS• Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming License is required.• Key positions require knowledge and application ofTitle 31 reporting requirements.• Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug test.
