The Director of Security will lead the departmental operational goals to maintain a safe and secure environment for bothGuests and Team Members as well as direct the day-to-day operating activities, including oversight of the EMT program,crisis management planning, and professional response. Develop and implement training programs, short- and long-termobjectives, and ensure compliance of casino and security policies and procedures. Provide positive mentorship anddevelopment opportunities for all team members. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of theorganization's policies and procedures, tribal regulations, and all federal/state laws, as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES1. All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa's Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, asoutlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, SOP's, and any other related training.2. Ensure an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the properties, exceeding theexpectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner.3. Guide and inspire exceptional team performance and mentor managers, supervisors, and team members.4. Plan and coordinate all security activities and safeguard assets of the gaming facility.5. Inspect and evaluate security activities on all shifts to ensure compliance with Security Department policies &procedures and any Tribal, Federal, and/or State regulatory requirements.6. Develop and enforce safety policies and emergency procedures including evacuation plans in all areas of the casino.7. Establish and maintain working relationships with local law enforcement agencies.8. Work closely with other departments ensuring proper security, safety, and protection procedures are in place.9. Provide overall protection from, and elimination of, anything that may tend to jeopardize the welfare and security ofthe company assets, properties, Guests, and Team Members.10. Establish procedures for and conduct special investigations with surveillance for internal/external fraud investigations.11. Responsible for the proper regulation of the Certified First Response Agency.12. Responsible for ensuring that all NREMT-Bs, NREMT-ls, and NREMT-Ps are properly certified and utilize continualtraining to maintain all appropriate certifications.13. Responsible for hiring, retaining, promoting, performance· evaluations, training, disciplining, and terminating TeamMember with concurrence of the Chief Operating Officer/General Manager and the Director of Human Resources.14. Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to the Minimum Internal ControlStandards (MICS).15. Establish clear expectations and goals for others: individuals, peers, team, department, and properties.16. Ensure Team Members have complete knowledge of all casino products and services.17. Compile and manage annual budget and periodic forecasting.18. Maintain high visibility in the operation, manages by "walking around". Visit places of work looking for success andidentifies areas that need improvement to meet standards at all properties.19. Responsible for supporting multiple Kiowa Casino properties.20. Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, and to the MinimumInternal Control Standards (MICS) in addition to any/all related controls for personal safety of others.21. Therequirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and/or ability required.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE• 4-year degree in a related field from an accredited university and 6 years Security experience with at least 3 years as a Security Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience.• High School diploma or GED is required.• Valid Driver's License and be insurable on Company's Policy.• Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations preferred.
