Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland in Bossier City is seeking a Food Server to provide friendly and efficient food and drink service, ensuring guests have a favorable dining experience.

You will engage with guests, recommend menu items, and support dining operations with attention to safety and quality. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, presenting food, handling payments, and assisting with In-Room Dining when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in casual, buffet and/or fine dining.
• Must work in an environment with alcohol and smoking.
• Must obtain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or Live’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Know the menu and confidently recommend items to guests.
• Take orders, present food, and process payments for extra food and beverage service; clear tables and transport dirty dishes.
• Enhance the dining and gaming experience with prompt, efficient service and guest interaction.
• Assist with In-Room Dining delivery when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
