Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana in Bossier City is seeking a friendly Food Server to provide engaging dining service and help guests enjoy a memorable experience.

You will know the menu, make confident recommendations, handle orders and payments, assist with clearing tables, and help with In-Room Dining when applicable. You must be 21+ and able to work in a casino environment, while complying with health and safety standards and Live’s operating guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. A high level of customer service training would be a plus.
• Experience: 1–3 years in casual, buffet and or fine dining restaurant.
• Exposure to an alcohol and smoking environment; able to work in such environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or Live’s operating standards.
• Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Knowledge of the menu and ability to make confident recommendations to guests.
• Take orders, present food, and assist in clearing tables and transporting dishes.
• Clean work station and wait stand at end of shift.
• Enhances the gaming and dining experience with prompt service and guest interaction.
• Assist in delivering In-Room Dining orders when applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
