Job summary
Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Live! Food Server to deliver friendly and efficient food and drink service to restaurant guests. You will ensure a favorable dining experience by engaging guests, knowing the menu, and confidently recommending items.
The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to health and safety regulations, and ongoing guest interaction to enhance the overall gaming and dining experience. Training and growth opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1–3 years experience in casual, buffet or fine dining.
- Ability to obtain Alcohol Beverage Card and comply with state gaming regulations.
- Strong English communication; fluency in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese or other Asian languages a plus.
- Knowledge of health regulations and PPE for safe food handling.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly, timely manner.
- Know the menu and confidently recommend items to guests.
- Take orders, process payments, and suggest food and beverage options.
- Assist in clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes; keep work area clean.
- Support In-Room Dining when applicable and enhance overall guest experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
