Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a friendly dining room team member to greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and deliver meals to tables in our casino dining venues. You will use a computerized guest check system and work closely with kitchen staff to ensure accurate, timely service.

Candidates should have at least six months of food and beverage experience, the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and communicate clearly in English. Boyd Gaming is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Utilize computer system for placing orders and processing payments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Receive and process food and beverage orders from guests using a computerized guest check system.
• Retrieve prepared orders from kitchen area and deliver to guests.
• Carry and balance trays and/or push carts of food and beverages through kitchen and dining room.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room areas.
• Present checks to guests and collect payment.
