Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a guest-focused food and beverage server to greet guests, take and deliver orders, and handle payments in a casino dining environment. You will process orders via a guest check system, maintain dining room cleanliness, and ensure a positive guest experience.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting trays up to 40 pounds, and fluency in English, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighting approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Utilize computer system for placing orders and processing payments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and serve food and beverage orders from guests.
• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Process food and beverage orders from guests using a computerized guest check system.
• Retrieves prepared orders from kitchen area and delivers to guests.
• Carry and balance trays or push cart of food and beverages through kitchen and dining room.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the dining room.
• Present check to guest, collect payment and/or deliver to cashier.
