Job summary

Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe seeks a Cocktail Server to expedite drink orders and provide beverage and bussing service on the casino floor. You will uphold brand standards and ensure guest satisfaction with a professional, friendly approach.

Must be at least 21, able to work varied shifts including weekends, and maintain knowledge of liquor regulations and menu items. A team-driven, fast-paced environment offers opportunities for advancement and tips.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines.
• Know locations of all Golden Nugget outlets and services available to guests.
• Communicates professionally and courteously when interacting with guests and fellow co-workers.
• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Follow established procedures for comps.
• Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections.
• Complete opening side duties fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies.
• Picks up dirty glassware from assigned station and return them to the Service Bar.
• Table games cocktail waitresses clean/empty ashtrays as needed.
• Inform Bartender of needed supplies.
• Communicate orders into system through Bartender ensuring transmission is verified.
• Bid farewell to guests, using guest’s name when known, and encourage them to return.
• Assist with maintaining a neat, clean and safe working environment.
• Turnover/Takeover station according to established procedures.
• Relay all guest compliments and complaints to the manager on duty.
• Is aware of and in compliance with all Health Department regulations while performing duties.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and liquor laws.
• Performs all other job-related duties as assigned.
