Job summary

Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced casino setting. You will create perfect beverages to spec, greet guests warmly, and help drive sales while maintaining accurate cash handling.

This tipped position offers hourly pay and benefits, with shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Join our team and contribute to an energetic atmosphere that values kindness and engagement.

Qualifications

1 year of bartending experience.
1 year of food serving experience preferred.
Record of delivering exceptional guest experience.
Effective communication skills.
Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
Must be available for various shifts including early morning, late nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours.
Team Player with a guest first attitude.
Minimum age of 21 years old.

Responsibilities

Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
Discover guest needs and suggests beverages to enhance their experience and meet sales goals.
Take food orders for sit down and to-go orders.
Be the master of the bar, understanding all aspects to promote a well-run shift by proper preparation.
Maintain par levels of all stock and supplies, garnishes, beer, wine, liquor, barware, etc.
Responsible for keeping an accurate count of all money and comps received for guests and follow cash handling policies.
