Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel Casino seeks an experienced Beverage Department Manager to lead a high-volume operation on the casino floor and in bars. You will supervise bartenders, porters, and service staff, ensuring quality, efficiency, and strict compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining staffing levels, managing inventory and par levels, training staff, and upholding company policies while achieving service, financial and HR goals set by executives.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years management experience in a high-volume hotel/casino beverage department.
• Knowledge of all beverage equipment necessary.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Able to communicate in English both verbally and written forms essential.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain beverage service quality standards.
• Maintain staffing levels for full department coverage.
• Ensure service efficiency via on-site monitoring.
• Communicate departmental needs to the Director of Food and Beverage.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
• Keep accurate employee records and address relations professionally.
• Oversee inventory par levels and beverage orders.
• Reduce waste and ensure a safe work environment.
• Conduct pre-shift staff meetings.
• Ensure bar porters and bartenders have gaming permits.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness of all bars.
• Maintain product levels across outlets.
• Mentor staff to follow policies and procedures.
• Supervise casino floor, service bars, and beverage outlets.
• Achieve service, financial, and HR goals set by executives.
• Perform duties as necessary for department success.
