Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a bartender to deliver fast, friendly service to casino guests. You’ll mix drinks to standard recipes, handle cash, and promote casino events while maintaining a clean, compliant workstation.

The role requires 21+ with a high school diploma, strong English and customer service skills, and the ability to work a variable schedule including nights and weekends. Tips can significantly boost earnings.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Read, write, understand and speak English
• Excellent customer service/communication skills
• Count money and give correct change
• Know cocktail ingredients and proper mixing/pouring techniques
• Available to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
• Professional appearance standards
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
• Must respond to visual and oral cues
• Able to work in crowded/noisy environments
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
• Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appears in publicity photos.
• Promotes casino events and programs.
• Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
• Resolves service problems according to guidelines.
• Provides fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests and beverage servers.
• Prepares and pours drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe.
• Slices and pits fruit as required.
• Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with guidelines and safety procedures.
• Operates a cash register/POS system, ringing proper amount and giving correct change; maintains financial controls.
• Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and stocked workstation per health and safety guidelines.
