Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a Casino Barback to support busy bars and promote excellent guest experiences. You will work with beverage servers, bartenders, and supervisors to deliver friendly service and smooth operations across shifts.

Requirements include being 21+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong customer service skills. You must be able to work nights and weekends, stay active in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write legibly, understand, and speak English.
• Excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Able to work in constricting areas.
• Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
• Physically mobile with ability to push/pull, lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional service to casino guests, beverage servers, and bartenders.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed.
• Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions.
• Promotes casino events and programs.
• Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
• Resolves service problems according to guidelines.
• Works well with others, especially beverage servers and supervisors.
• Maintains par levels of operating supplies and equipment for each bar.
