Job summary

Hollywood Casino Joliet is hiring a bartender to deliver high‑level guest service in a fast‑paced entertainment setting. You will mix drinks to Hollywood’s standards, ring transactions, check stock, and keep a clean, safe bar area throughout shifts.

You must be at least 21, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be fluent in English. Prior bartending experience is preferred; training will cover opening/closing duties and guest safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Thorough knowledge of mixing drinks.
• Minimum 6 months of bartending experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must understand and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for guests and team members.
• Maintain a professional appearance and be well-groomed at all times.
• Provide friendly, quick, and professional service to guests and co-workers.
• Mix and prepare drink orders according to standards; garnish properly.
• Operate cash register; process payments and give correct change.
• Request stock and monitor bar inventory levels.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar and station; follow safety rules.
• Answer questions about Hollywood operations.
• Prepare bar for shifts by completing opening/closing duties.
• Notify Supervisor if a guest appears intoxicated; report equipment problems.
• Attend staff briefings and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
