Pay Range

Base pay range

$12.00/hr - $12.00/hr

Responsibilities

1. Greet customers promptly and courteously via phone or in person, offering assistance.
2. Operate the POS system for accurate sales data entry, pricing, and merchandise information.
3. Handle cash transactions properly, including coupons and discounts.
4. Promote and ensure the integrity of the “Change Round-up” program to support community initiatives.
5. Maintain cleanliness of the front area, including doors, counters, and glass, and return shopping carts and baskets to proper areas.
6. Assist with promotional activities like customer information and display postings.
7. Keep the counter, showcases, and cash wraps tidy and organized.
8. Follow safety procedures and report hazards or concerns.
9. Assist in training new cashiers.
10. Maintain dressing rooms and re-hang clothes as needed.
11. Organize merchandise on the sales floor, rotating stock as necessary.
12. Follow all policies regarding theft, cash handling, and safety.
13. Perform duties aligned with Memphis Goodwill’s Guiding Principles.
14. Participate in activities outside of regular duties if asked.
15. Attend training sessions as scheduled.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader Coach.
