Job summary

TESO Group in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Cashier Team Leader to supervise the cashier team, support front-end operations, and ensure accurate transactions while delivering a positive customer experience. You will train cashiers, uphold store policies on transactions and discounts, resolve customer questions professionally, and be prepared to travel to other locations.

The role requires open availability and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cashiers to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient checkout operations.
• Assist with complex transactions, including refunds, voids, exchanges, and payment discrepancies.
• Ensure cashiers follow store policies and procedures related to transactions, returns, exchanges, and promotional discounts.
• Address and resolve customer questions, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Travel to and work at other store locations as needed.
• Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 30 lbs. as needed.

Job Summary

The Cashier Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the cashier team and supporting smooth, efficient front-end operations. This role includes leading, training, and supporting cashiers, ensuring accurate transactions, maintaining high customer service standards, and addressing register-related issues. The Cashier Team Leader works closely with store management to support team performance, achieve store goals, and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
