Job summary

The Beauty Team Leader at TESO Group oversees the beauty department's daily operations, leading and coaching the beauty team to deliver excellent customer service and strong product presentation in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate leadership, deep beauty knowledge, and a customer-first approach to drive sales while maintaining brand standards at our Overland Park, KS location. This is a full-time role with broad weekday/weekend availability.

• Partner with store management to support goals and promotions.

Job Summary

The Beauty Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the beauty department. This role leads and supports the beauty team, ensures exceptional customer service, maintains high standards of product presentation and store operations, and helps drive sales performance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for beauty, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the beauty department, including staffing, inventory, and overall department organization.
• Train, coach, and develop beauty team members to build strong product knowledge, customer service, and sales skills.
• Address customer questions and concerns while ensuring the team provides personalized beauty recommendations and exceptional service.
• Lead visual merchandising efforts, ensuring beauty displays are attractive, organized, and aligned with company standards.
• Partner with store management to support sales goals, promotional activities, and other store initiatives.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, share product updates, and review team performance.
• Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 30 lbs. as needed.

• Strong knowledge of beauty products, skincare, cosmetics, industry trends, and customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
