7th Street Burger is hiring both part-time and full-time cashiers to be the face of our shop. You’ll greet customers, enter orders, and help keep the line moving with a positive energy, even during busy periods.

We offer competitive pay ($17.50/hour + tips), weekly pay, benefits for full-time staff, and growth opportunities as we expand across the Northeast. Apply if you enjoy fast-paced teamwork and great hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail environment.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified).
• Flexible availability for late nights (most shops are open until 3:00am), weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently
• Count and close out the register at open and close
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you

What started as a single East Village shop has grown into 30+ locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Boston, and DC, with plans to scale throughout the Northeast.
