Job summary

7th Street Burger Times Square is hiring both part-time and full-time cashiers to greet customers with a friendly, high-energy attitude. You will enter orders in the POS, handle cash and card payments, and help maintain a clean, efficient shop as orders move quickly.

Ideal candidates have experience in fast-paced environments, strong cash handling and customer service skills, and flexibility for late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer-first attitude and reliable attendance.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Food handler certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Count and close out the register at open and close.
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift.
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed.
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you.

What started as a single East Village shop has grown into 30+ locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Boston, and DC, with plans to scale throughout the Northeast. Pay Rate:$17.50 per hour + Tips

At 7th Street Burger, ourPart-Time and Full-Time Cashiersare the face of the shop. You're the first hello and the last thank you, keeping the line moving and the energy up while orders fly.
