Job summary

Swartz Creek is seeking an organized school lunch program assistant for Elms Elementary. You will serve meals, operate the cash register, and help keep the lunchroom clean and orderly during the 11:00 am to 1:00 pm shift.

This part-time role supports the team under guidance from the Executive Chef and Food Service Director. Responsibilities include recording meals, counting cash, stocking serving areas, and maintaining daily attendance.

Responsibilities

• Serve students compliant meals and record their meal at the end of service.
• Run cash register, accurately count cash and prepare deposits as needed.
• Stock and maintain serving area.
• Support lunchroom behaviors and expectations while students are in line.
• Clean all food service equipment and accessories including assisting with wiping lunchroom tables.
• Punctual, regular, & consistent attendance is required.
• Support department at the direction of the Executive Chef, Food Service Director, and Cook Manager.
• All other duties as assigned.
