PokeDoke Restaurant is seeking a friendly Restaurant Line Server who can provide outstanding service while memorizing our menu and helping guests build poke bowls along the line. You will take orders, assist customers, and ensure accuracy while keeping the dining area clean and welcoming.

Ideal candidates have server experience, are dependable, and comfortable using a POS system. This on-site role offers tip income and a supportive team environment in Kirkwood, Missouri.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of server experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Experience with a restaurant POS system is a plus.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at shift end.

Responsibilities

• Take customers’ food and drink orders.
• Upsell customers on specials.
• Ensure orders are accurate and prepared promptly.
• Suggest appetizers and meals based on menu and specials.
• Work with management to address customer concerns and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Confirm orders with any allergies or restrictions.

• Job Summary

PokeDoke Restaurant is seeking a friendly Restaurant Line Server who can deliver excellent customer service while memorizing our menu items. Pokedoke is a quick serve style restaurant where customers build there poke bowls down the line like subway. The Restaurant Line Server will be responsible for taking food orders from customers, building the proper bowl the customer orders and helping the customer down the line. If you have previous experience as a Server in a popular restaurant and a dedication to providing excellent service to customers, we want to hear from you.

Restaurant Line Server responsibilities

• Take customers’ food and drink orders
• Upsell customers on specials
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and made for each customer in a timely manner
• Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials
• Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
• Confirm orders with any food allergies and restrictions
• Assist with keeping line, dinning, and kitchen areas clean
• Prep line items
• Check out customers and ensure the right change is given

Restaurant Server skills

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 2+ years’ Server experience preferred
• Must be able to work on your feet up to 8 hours
• Strong customer service skills required
• Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plus
• Ensure that items are restocked, and the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift'
