Fields Auto Group in Glenview, IL is seeking a Cashier/Receptionist with excellent customer service and a positive attitude. On-the-job training is available, handling payments, phones, and clerical tasks to support management.

Join a team that values respectful, professional interactions and efficient customer service. Schedule is Tue/Thu 12:00 pm–8:00 pm and Sat 10:00 am–6:00 pm, with compensation of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and requests to management.
• Professional personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Answer phones and direct customers to the proper department and follow up promptly
• Handle any customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
• Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees
• Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently
