Job summary

Fields Auto Group in Glenview, IL is seeking a friendly Cashier/Receptionist to deliver excellent customer service and assist dealership operations.

You will handle payments, answer phones, greet guests, and support managers with clerical tasks. Training provided; schedule Tue/Thu 12:00 pm-8:00 pm, Sat 10:00 am-6:00 pm; pay $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and requests to management.
• Professional personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Answer phones and direct customers to the proper department and follow up promptly.
• Handle any customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold.
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed.
• Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
• Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently.
