Fields Auto Group is hiring a Cashier / Receptionist in Glenview, IL. This role supports customer service at the front desk, handles payments, answers calls, and assists managers with clerical tasks. Training is provided; the schedule includes Tue and Thu 12:00 pm–8:00 pm and Sat 10:00 am–6:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Answer phones and direct customers to the proper department and follow up promptly.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to the appropriate person for resolution.
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly manner and minimize hold time.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Answer phones and direct customers to the proper department and follow up promptly
• Handle any customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
• Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees
• Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently
