Job summary

Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet customers, operate the POS system, and guide Change Round Up donations to support the organization’s mission.

You will assist with training, maintain a clean sales floor, and help ensure accurate pricing and data entry. The role involves standing, light lifting, and working days, evenings, and weekends with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Willing to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.
