Job summary

Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. in Lake Worth Beach, FL is hiring a friendly Cashier to greet customers, operate the POS, and ensure accurate pricing and information codes at checkout.

You will support daily sales activities with a cheerful, multitasking approach. The position includes assisting in training new cashiers, maintaining a clean and safe sales floor, and encouraging customers to participate in Change Round Up to help fund mission-driven programs at Goodwill.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.
