Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashier duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs sales transactions efficiently.
• Enters all sales into the cash register accurately.
• Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
• Follows procedures for cash refunds.
• Interacts courteously with customers and resolves complaints.
• Manages change funds and cash receipts to ensure compliance with standards.
• Observes customer purchases and differentiates portions.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages, and maintains cleanliness.
• Keeps pastry case stocked.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Adheres to sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
