We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

Location: Bayer Morristown - 36 Columbia Road, Morristown, NJ 07960. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Prior cashier and food service experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Assists with catering orders.
2. Performs cashier duties using the POS system.
3. Performs general cleaning duties; manages trash and garbage.
4. Provides service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Handles cashiering with accuracy and makes deposits at the end of shifts.
6. Inventories and restocks supplies and food products.
7. Sets up serving line, monitors food temperatures, and notifies cooks if needed.
8. Serves hot and cold items to customers.
9. Prepares items for purchase daily and maintains stock and rotation.
10. Records temperatures and replenishments on floor stock forms.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
