• We have an opening for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.
• Location: Jefferies Cafe - Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10022 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 2:00 pm or 6:00 am - 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.

• Pay Range: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing foods and catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform cleaning duties; manage trash.
• Provide service in retail areas, cashiering, and line serving.
• Handle cash accurately and make deposits.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food.
• Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if needed.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily.
• Stock and rotate refrigerator products.
• Record temperatures and stock levels daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
