+ Location: Hackensack University Medical Center - 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; Monday through Sunday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. More details upon interview.

+ Pay Range: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashier duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, giving change, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service tasks. Maintains sanitation standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs sales transactions efficiently.
2. Enters sales into the register accurately.
3. Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
4. Handles cash refunds following standard procedures.
5. Interacts with customers courteously and resolves complaints.
6. Manages change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance.
7. Monitors customer purchases and differentiates portions.
8. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and maintains cleanliness.
9. Stocks pastry cases and maintains inventory standards.
10. Ensures compliance with company standards, sanitation, and safety regulations.
11. Performs additional duties as assigned.
