Job Summary

The cashier performs duties including cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work, maintaining sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform sales transactions promptly.
2. Accurately record all sales in the cash register.
3. Make change, accept various payment methods, and issue receipts.
4. Follow procedures for cash refunds.
5. Interact with customers courteously and resolve complaints.
6. Manage change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
7. Observe customer purchases and differentiate portions.
8. Replenish condiments, beverages, and maintain cleanliness.
9. Stock pastry case and ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
