Job summary

Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. in Palm City, FL is seeking a Full Time Cashier. You will greet customers, operate the POS, manage price and code information, and encourage participation in Change Round Up to support our mission.

The role requires a willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends, and prior cash handling or retail experience is preferred. You will help train new cashiers and maintain a clean, safe sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Invite customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.
