Job summary

The Home Depot is hiring a Head Cashier to deliver fast, friendly, accurate and safe service at the checkout. You will process Checkout and Returns, monitor Self-Checkout, and proactively extend product knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities.

The position includes coaching and training of other Front End Associates, with a preferred qualification of 1+ years of cashier experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to operate POS and handle transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Process checkout and return transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area and assist customers.
• Support supervision, coaching and training of Front End Associates.
