Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to support front-end operations in the store. This role involves processing checkout and return transactions, and monitoring the Self-Checkout area to ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service.

The Head Cashier will assist in coaching and training Cashiers, expediting price checks, and handling POS transactions and markdowns across registers. Experience of 1+ years as a Cashier is preferred.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier preferred qualification: 1+ years of Cashier experience.
• Customer service oriented and ability to handle transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Process Checkout and/or Return transactions.
• Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
• Provide information and identify selling opportunities.
• Escalate customer issues as needed and assist in supervising/front-end training.
