Job summary

Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead cashiers, delivering fast, friendly service and ensuring accurate checkout and returns. The role involves monitoring the Self-Checkout area and providing product information to customers to identify selling opportunities.

You will help enforce policies to minimize shrink, escalate issues as needed, and assist in supervising and training Front End Associates and new Cashiers. This is a strong leadership role for an experienced cashier.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier preferred qualification: 1+ years of Cashier experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly customer service at checkout.
• Process Checkout and Returns transactions and monitor Self-Checkout area.
• Know product information to inform customers and identify selling opportunities.
• Follow policies to minimize shrink and maintain accuracy at the point of sale.
• Assist in supervising, coaching, and training Front End Associates and new Cashiers.
