Job summary

Wright Automotive Group is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our team. The role involves greeting customers, handling payments, and providing courteous service while maintaining accurate records in the dealership system.

The position requires good communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to work some evenings and weekends. Prior experience with cash handling and basic office software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and handle several phone calls at once.
• Must have at least a high school diploma/GED.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
• All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a professional manner.
• Operates switchboard telephone system.
• Takes messages with caller details and purpose of call.
• Provides basic information to general inquiries.
• Backs up sales department cashier as needed.
• Assists Service Manager with clerical duties.
