Job Opening: Cashier/Food Service Worker

• We have openings for full-time Cashier/Food Service Worker positions.
• Location: Cleveland Clinic - Hillcrest, 6780 Mayfield Road, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Shifts vary, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. More details upon interview. Shifts: Mon-Fri from 7-3 pm and 8:30-5 pm
• Requirements: Cash handling experience required. Food service or hospitality experience a plus.
• Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; help prepare catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness by performing general cleaning duties and disposing of trash appropriately.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and make deposits at the end of shifts.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if temperatures are outside acceptable ranges.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily and ensure proper stock levels.
• Maintain refrigerator stock, rotate products using FIFO, and record temperatures and replenishments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
