Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a friendly Cashier (Customer Service Associate) to greet customers, assist with projects, and ensure a positive shopping experience. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with base pay starting at $15.00 per hour, plus higher starting pay based on experience.

Responsibilities include checkout operations, returns, maintaining accurate cash handling, stock display, and providing product recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Potential travel to other stores for support.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Follow safety processes and company policies.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Open and close registers.
• Handle cash, checks and card transactions per procedures.
• Answer phones according to guidelines.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise as required.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
